Jacob’s #1 Wedge Set is used to remove 1JT taper mount chucks from arbors or spindles. The wedge set number is stamped into each wedge for easy identification. To remove taper-mounted chucks, insert chuck removal wedges between the back of the chuck and shoulder of the arbor or spindle.
