This magnetic mount has a 5/8 in. x 11 male thread, so any compatible accessory can be solidly mounted with no hassle or inconvenience. This magnetic mounting system has 3 strong magnets, rated for 120 lbs. of pulling force on a 1/2 in. steel plate. The spring system design allows the plates to flex to fit a curved surface. This feature makes the 765-16 a great choice for pipeline survey work with larger metal pipes. Or use it to attach your antenna to the metal bodywork of a vehicle.
